The trials for the US Gymnastics team for the Tokyo Olympics 2024 will commence on June 24, 2024. The four days long trials will conclude on June 27th, 2024. In both men and women trials, the top two gymnasts from each category (after combining the scores of all four days) at the US Gymnastics Olympic Trials 2024 will confirm their place in the team.
The rest of the four gymnasts will be chosen by the United States of America Gymnastics selection committee. The remaining four players will be selected based on rankings and performance.
The selection committee will also be selecting three backup options in both men and women category for the Tokyo Olympics 2024. Two-time Olympic medalist Laurie Hernandez and world champions Morgan Hurd and Chellsie Memmel have pulled out of trials due to injuries.
In the women category, all eyes will be on Simone Biles. She has been undefeated in all-around competition for eight years.
