Asian Champions Trophy 2024 Schedule, Timings, Teams, Squads & Venues: The Asian Champions Trophy 2024 is a separate Men’s field hockey tournament and Women’s Hockey Tournament. The Men’s Asian Champions Trophy was scheduled to commence on March 11 but will be postponed again to later in October this year.
While the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy which was scheduled from 31 March is also postponed to later in September 2024.
Asian Champions Trophy 2024 Schedule
Originally the sixth edition of the Asian Champions Trophy was scheduled to take place from November 2024 to March 2024. The opening match was between India and Japan. But due to Covid-19, the tournament was postponed to March 2024 and now it again postponed to October 2024.
The complete Asian Champions Trophy 2024 schedule along with match fixtures of both women’s and men’s tournament will be placed here after the official confirmation.
This tournament organized by AHF (Asian Hockey Federation) features the top 6 Asian National hockey teams. The tournament is being postponed to keep the environment for the players safe and risk-free, due to the surge in Covid19 cases in Asia.

Men’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024 Teams

Each of the above six teams will play against each of the other five teams once in a round-robin league format. The top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals and the bottom two teams will play a match for the 5th and 6th position. India is the defending champions, they have won the tournament thrice (2011,2016, and 2018).
Women’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024 Teams

It will be Thailand’s first appearance in the biennial tournament. Each of the above six teams will play against each of the other five teams once in a round-robin league format.
The top two teams will qualify for the Finals, while the 3rd and 4th place teams will play a third-place match and the bottom two teams will play a match for the 5th place.

Venues
Men’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024: The host country for the Asian Champions Trophy 2024 is Bangladesh. All the matches will be hosted by the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium in Dhaka. It is the first time Bangladesh will be appearing in the Asian Champions Trophy.
Women’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024: The host country for the Women’s Asian Champions Trophy 2024 is the defending Champions South Korea. All the matches will be hosted by the Donghae City Sunrise Stadium in Donghae.
