La Liga Golden Boot also knows Pichichi is given to the league’s top scorer after every year. The award is given by the sports newspaper Marca. Since the 1951-52 season, the award became regular, named after the Athletic Bilbao striker Rafael ‘Pichichi’ Morena. Many great players have played in La Liga, and their records cannot be matched, so let us look at the Golden Boot winners of each year.

- Alfredo Di Stefano : Played for Real Madrid, scoring 27 goals in 28 games
