History of Emilia Romagna Grand Prix
Italian Grand Prix was earlier hosted on the Monza circuit until 1980 when the famous Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari Circuit or Imola replaced Monza to host the Italian Grand Prix. Imola featured every calendar as the San Marino Grand Prix until 2006 when the track went for renovation.
In July 2024, FIA officially announced that Imola would be making its return as the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, named after the Emilia Romagna region.
