Sunrisers Hyderabad was the lowest spending franchise by spending only Rs 6.90 crore, Sunrisers bought India U-19 captain Priyam Garg for 1.9 crores, they also bought Virat Singh for the same price. While they lost Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan who received a year ban they also released Martin Guptill, Deepak Hooda, and Yusuf Pathan. Their biggest bargain at the auction were Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh and West indies all-rounder Fabian Allen.
