The first MotoGP of the 2024 season, the Barwa Grand Prix of Qatar is scheduled to take place from March 26 to 28. The 2024 Qatar MotoGP Grand Prix weekends starts with the first free practice sessions on Thursday, 25 March, unlike other Grand Prix while MotoGP second and the third free practice sessions are on Friday, 26 March. The qualifying sessions for all three classes will take place on Saturday, 27th March and the main race will begin on Sunday, 28th March.

Losail International Circuit, Qatar
The Losail International Circuit located in Doha, the capital city of Qatar. The circuit was opened on 2nd October 2004 for the inaugural event the Marlboro Grand Prix of Qatar. The main straight is over a kilometre in length and the track is 5.4 km in length. It is surrounded by artificial grass designed to stop the sand encroaching on the track similar to the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir.
